It forecasted an original anime with beautiful artwork, an ambient atmosphere, likeable characters and a lot of tragic drama.

When I first started watching Plastic Memories back in April I was immediately very impressed by it because the first episode was simply amazing. No matter how much someone desires it, nothing lasts forever. Time is fleeting though, and Tsukasa must come to terms with his feelings for Isla before her time is up. She is a Terminal Service veteran and considered the best in Giftia retrievals, contrary to her petite figure and placid nature. Promptly after joining Terminal Service One, Tsukasa is partnered with a beautiful Giftia named Isla. Terminal Service One, the station Tsukasa was assigned to, is responsible for collecting Giftias that have met their expiration date, before they lose their memories and become hostile. However, unlike humans, Giftias have a maximum lifespan of 81,920 hours, or around nine years and four months. SAI Corp is responsible for the creation of "Giftias"-highly advanced androids which are almost indiscernible from normal humans.

She is very innocent, and often has difficulty understanding how social situations should work. Isla was introduced as showing almost no emotion, but has since developed more. However, her affection and her love life have changed her to be more active and happy, thus wearing different outfits to dates and meetings with Tsukasa. Before regaining her true feelings of happiness with Tsukasa, Isla only used to dress in her standard issue uniform and nothing else. Isla wears white boots that matches her uniform. She is one of the shortest characters in the series. She has red eyes and usually wears a white uniform that lays above her knees. Isla is usually seen having long, silver pigtails.
